LITRAK Group Chinese New Year Charity Event With Children From Rumah Charis, Home For Children And Festive Toll Discounts

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival that is symbolic of reunion, festive gatherings and peace. The less fortunate are not forgotten during festive occasions. As a corporate organization that always cares, LITRAK Group of companies, the concessionaire for Damansara-Puchong Highway and Sistem Penyuraian Trafik KL Barat (SPRINT), brought the joy to some 38 underprivileged children from Rumah Charis – Home for Children at Taman Yarl, Kuala Lumpur.
The children were warmly welcomed by En. Sazally Saidi, Chief Executive Officer of LITRAK Group at their home. The children are obviously excited to receive ‘Ang Pow’ and goodies bag worth RM100.00 and treated with appetizing lunch. Meanwhile En. Sazally also gave away ‘Ang Pow’ to the home as a small token of appreciation.
Rumah Charis is a non-profit organization and is registered as a social welfare home with the Registrar Society of Malaysia and is a member of the Kuala Lumpur Social Welfare Department. The Home¡¯s Vision is to provide a suitable environment for orphans and also for underprivileged, neglected and single-parent children. The Home will also provide spiritual direction, ensure that every child will have the opportunity to have a complete education and will try their best to reconcile the children with their parents.
Also, in conjunction with Chinese New Year, LITRAK and SPRINT will be offering discounts of 60 sen and 20 sen on Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) and Lebuhraya SPRINT respectively on the 19 February (Thursday only) from 12.01 am to 12.00 midnight.
The 60 sen and 20 sen discount will apply to all classes of vehicles with the discount working out to be up to 75% depending on the class of the vehicle.
