Chinese New Year Celebration With Orphans And Unfortunates

16 Feb 2008

In the midst of festive season, there are others who are less fortunate. As a caring community, these people should not be forgotten and it is our duty to bring the festive season happiness to them.

Just like previous years, Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd (LITRAK) the highway concessionaire of Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong and Sistem Penyuraian Trafik KL-Barat Sdn Bhd (SPRINT) organized a Chinese New Year charity program which is part of our continuous community service for the orphans and the unfortunates.

This year, 60 orphans from Rumah Amal Cahaya Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (RACTAR), Rumah Hope and Compassion Home were entertained by the clown and lion dance to mark the coming of the joyous Lunar Year at Mc Donalds Restaurant, Petaling Jaya Selatan Rest Area. It is hoped that this sincere move will help the recipients to experience the ongoing joy of Chinese New Year. These children were also entertained by the clown and lion dance during the event which was held at Mc Donalds Restaurant at Petaling Jaya Selatan Rest Area.

The contribution was given by ADUN Subang Jaya, YB Dato¡¯ Lee Hwa Beng. Also present, LITRAK¡¯s Chief Operating Officer, Mr Richard Lim and the concessionaire¡¯s Head of Departments.
